Responsibility
- Assist in daily retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cashier duties.
- Provide exceptional customer service in Mandarin and English to a diverse clientele, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Support sales targets by promoting products, handling transactions, and resolving customer inquiries.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills in retail management, leadership, and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising.
- Assist in stock replenishment, pricing updates, and promotional setups.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Contribute to team meetings and provide feedback on store performance and customer trends.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken); proficiency in English is a must.
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related fields.
- 0-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or sales; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for books, education, or consumer products with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, inventory software) is a plus.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
