Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries and purchases.
- Manage retail operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/card payments.
- Collaborate with the team to promote youth programs and scout-related merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events and sales initiatives.
- Track sales performance and provide feedback to improve retail strategies.
- Uphold the values and mission of The Singapore Scout Association in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent; diploma in retail management or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or sales roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including POS systems and inventory management tools.
- Passion for youth development and community engagement is highly valued.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or during peak retail periods.
- Singaporean citizens or PRs preferred.
