Responsibility
- Process customer payments accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests, ensuring a positive last impression.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, reconciling discrepancies and reporting any issues.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and refunds with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking receipts, pens, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth order flow and minimize wait times.
- Generate daily sales reports and assist with basic accounting tasks as required.
- Adhere to all company policies, including hygiene, safety, and cash-handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High integrity and trustworthiness in handling cash and sensitive financial information.
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
- Basic knowledge of Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and foreign currency exchange is advantageous.
