Responsibility
- Operate and monitor Biosite-deployed ventilators to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of ventilators and related medical equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide respiratory support and ensure proper use of ventilators.
- Document and report any technical issues or malfunctions to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.
- Train and educate medical staff on the proper operation and maintenance of ventilators.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical standards, protocols, and safety regulations.
- Participate in the installation and setup of new ventilators and related equipment.
- Provide on-call support for emergency situations involving ventilator operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Valid certification or license as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Strong understanding of medical protocols and safety standards related to respiratory therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment management systems.
