Responsibility
- Design, implement, and monitor human development and health research studies in collaboration with local and international partners.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data using statistical tools and research methodologies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research findings to stakeholders and the scientific community.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, educators, and policymakers, to ensure research alignment with public health goals.
- Develop and maintain ethical research protocols in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IRB approvals).
- Conduct literature reviews to identify gaps in existing research and propose innovative study approaches.
- Assist in grant writing and funding proposals to secure resources for ongoing and future projects.
- Engage with local communities in Bali to gather insights and ensure culturally sensitive research practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Epidemiology, Human Development, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in health research, clinical studies, or developmental science.
- Proven expertise in data analysis (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, or Stata) and research methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Experience working in multicultural or international research settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ethical research standards (e.g., Good Clinical Practice, Helsinki Declaration).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, interdisciplinary environments.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and travel occasionally for fieldwork or conferences.
