Responsibility
- Develop and prototype innovative FPGA-based trust technology solutions to address emerging digital security challenges.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to architect secure hardware modules and cryptographic accelerators.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and validation of hardware designs in real-world simulation environments.
- Write clean, efficient VHDL/Verilog code and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for research projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in hardware security, side-channel attacks, and trusted execution environments.
- Assist in the preparation of research papers, technical reports, and grant proposals to support ongoing hub initiatives.
- Mentor junior research assistants and participate in technical knowledge-sharing sessions within the department.
Qualifications
- Masterās degree or Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in FPGA development using VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Hands-on experience with hardware design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital logic design, embedded systems, and computer architecture.
- Knowledge of hardware security primitives (PUFs, TRNGs) or cryptographic implementations is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a research-oriented team environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
