Responsibility
- Lead and manage the R&D team to develop innovative products, processes, and technologies aligned with company goals.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to testing and commercialization.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to drive strategic R&D initiatives.
- Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and intellectual property protections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in R&D, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of leading successful product development projects from inception to launch.
- Strong expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and technical reporting.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in R&D tools, software (e.g., CAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW), and industry-specific technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
