job description

Join the National University of Singapore (NUS), a globally renowned institution at the forefront of academic excellence, as a Research Associate (Theoretical Modelling). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in theoretical modelling while enjoying the flexibility of remote work from the tropical paradise of Bali, Indonesia.

In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of researchers to develop and refine theoretical models that address complex scientific and engineering challenges. Your work will have a direct impact on advancing knowledge in fields such as computational physics, applied mathematics, or systems engineering, depending on the project's focus. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who thrives in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.

As part of NUS, you will have access to world-class resources, including high-performance computing facilities, research databases, and opportunities to publish in top-tier journals. You will also benefit from a supportive work culture that values innovation, creativity, and professional growth. Whether you are based in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or another part of Bali, this role offers the perfect blend of professional development and an enviable lifestyle.

If you are passionate about theoretical modelling and eager to make a meaningful contribution to research while enjoying the beauty of Bali, we encourage you to apply. This is your chance to work with one of Asia's leading universities without compromising on work-life balance.
