Responsibility
- Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication details for structural steel components using Tekla Structures.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and fabricators to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to identify potential issues or optimizations.
- Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and cutting lists for steel fabrication and procurement.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in structural models to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AISC, Eurocode, or other relevant standards for steel detailing.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to project timelines, quality control checks, and client requirements.
- Provide technical support to fabrication teams and address any discrepancies during the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Structural Steel Detailer, with a strong portfolio in Tekla Structures.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures (Xsteel), AutoCAD, and other relevant detailing software.
- Deep understanding of steel fabrication processes, connection design, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for remote collaboration.
- Experience working on international projects (preferred but not mandatory).
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
