Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero
- Automate financial workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Coordinate financial administration tasks, including invoicing, payroll, and expense tracking
- Collaborate with tech founders to ensure financial processes align with business goals
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Liaise with external stakeholders, such as accountants and auditors, as needed
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance productivity
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role, with expertise in Xero
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
- Experience automating financial workflows and improving processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Familiarity with financial software and tools beyond Xero is a plus
- Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
