Responsibility
- Lead and optimize financial operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, FP&A, Operations) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reduce manual effort.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or financial analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven track record of process improvement and automation in financial operations.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
