Responsibility
- Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Lead price negotiations, contract terms, and bulk purchasing agreements to reduce costs.
- Purchase Order Processing: Generate, track, and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends, material costs, and supply chain risks to inform procurement strategies.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, finance, and quality teams to align procurement with business needs.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on KPIs such as cost savings, supplier lead times, and order fulfillment rates.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market data, cost structures, and supplier performance.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills for stakeholder and vendor interactions.
- Organizational Skills: Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for resolving supply chain disruptions and vendor-related issues.
- Education: Bachelorās degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
