Responsibility

  • Process and verify invoices for Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.
  • Monitor and report on cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and assisting with data collection.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
  • 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting (internships or part-time roles count).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or local accounting standards.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) for clear communication with global teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
