Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices for Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.
- Monitor and report on cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Support audits by providing documentation and assisting with data collection.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting (internships or part-time roles count).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or local accounting standards.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for clear communication with global teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
