Responsibility
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments under the supervision of oncologists, ensuring strict adherence to protocols and patient safety.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, side effects, and treatment responses, documenting all observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families, fostering a compassionate and trust-based care environment.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication management, and post-therapy care to improve adherence and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (oncologists, pharmacists, social workers) to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, hygiene, and oncology-specific safety standards in all clinical procedures.
- Assist in emergency interventions for oncology-related complications (e.g., anaphylaxis, extravasation).
- Participate in continuous training and certifications to stay updated on the latest oncology nursing practices.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (Indonesian STR or equivalent) with specialization in oncology nursing (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology, chemotherapy administration, or critical care nursing.
- Certification in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy (e.g., ONS/ONCC or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proficient in EHR systems and medical documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining composure and empathy.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Commitment to patient advocacy, ethical practice, and continuous learning in oncology care.
