Responsibility
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate and expand market share in Malaysia, Indonesia, and APAC for livestock equipment and engineering solutions.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, engage, and convert high-value clients, including farms, agribusinesses, and distributors, through consultative selling and relationship management.
- Product Positioning: Educate clients on the technical and commercial benefits of our livestock equipment, including feeding systems, ventilation, waste management, and automation solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform product development and sales tactics.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure seamless project delivery and after-sales service.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs, including ROI analysis and financing options.
- Training & Support: Conduct product training for clients and internal teams to ensure optimal use and adoption of solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in agricultural equipment, livestock technology, or industrial engineering within APAC markets.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of livestock farming operations (poultry, dairy, swine, or aquaculture) and related equipment/automation needs.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical or engineering product environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and articulate complex engineering solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or Malay is a strong plus.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel frequently (50-70%) across Malaysia, Indonesia, and other APAC regions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or technical certification is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
