Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure consistency in reporting.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
