Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain meticulous records of all received goods, including quantities, conditions, and discrepancies, using our digital inventory management system.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to deliveries, damages, or missing items.
- Organize and store received goods in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility for easy retrieval.
- Generate and distribute receiving reports to relevant departments, including procurement, finance, and warehouse teams.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and report on receiving metrics, such as turnaround time and error rates, to identify areas for process improvement.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized receiving area to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receiving, warehouse, or administrative role, preferably in a tech, logistics, or retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and verify shipment information.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and basic data entry tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities, calculating discrepancies, and preparing reports.
- Ability to lift and move packages (up to 20 kg) and stand for extended periods as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
