Responsibility
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport medical equipment and supplies within warehouse and distribution centers.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and report any mechanical issues to maintenance teams.
- Follow strict safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment, verifying quantities and product codes to minimize errors.
- Maintain organized inventory by properly storing and labeling materials in designated locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics coordinators to optimize workflow and meet delivery deadlines.
- Document all transactions and movements of goods using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Assist in maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator or similar role in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
- Valid certification for operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and inventory lists.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise material handling.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) as needed.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues.
