Responsibility
- Lead and manage the radiology department, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
- Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, equipment maintenance, and protocol adherence.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to comply with medical and safety standards.
- Collaborate with medical teams to optimize imaging workflows and patient care pathways.
- Develop and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Manage budgetary planning, including equipment procurement and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international radiology regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in radiology, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) and radiation safety protocols.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with healthcare management software and PACS/RIS systems.
- Certification in radiology (e.g., ARRT, local equivalent) is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards in patient care.
