Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of racing programs, ensuring alignment with product development goals and performance targets.
- Act as the primary liaison between race teams, engineers, and product development teams to translate track performance insights into actionable product improvements.
- Oversee vehicle setup, testing, and optimization for competitive racing, including data analysis and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with drivers, engineers, and external partners to refine vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and powertrain performance.
- Manage race event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with race organizers and sponsors.
- Analyze race data and telemetry to identify performance trends, areas for improvement, and competitive advantages.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, including driver coaching and pit crew optimization.
- Ensure compliance with racing regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in motorsports, automotive engineering, or high-performance vehicle tuning.
- Proven track record of managing racing programs or competitive automotive projects.
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and powertrain systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MoTeC, AIM, or similar) and telemetry software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with race event management, including logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Passion for motorsports and a deep understanding of racing strategies and competitive environments.
