Responsibility
- Develop and refine biscuit product formulations from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials to optimize product texture, flavor, and shelf-life stability.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement process improvements.
- Perform sensory evaluations and gather feedback to enhance product quality and appeal.
- Maintain detailed documentation of R&D activities, including formulations, test results, and regulatory compliance records.
- Stay updated on industry innovations, ingredients, and technologies to drive continuous product improvement.
- Work closely with procurement and quality assurance teams to source high-quality raw materials.
- Support scale-up activities to ensure smooth transition from R&D to full-scale production.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food product development, preferably in bakery or biscuit manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and processing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and pilot-scale production.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is a plus.
