Responsibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop inventory optimization algorithms using machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Analyze large-scale retail data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
- Assist in the prototyping and testing of new features for the inventory management system.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support the integration of optimization models into existing retail workflows.
- Conduct competitive research to benchmark industry best practices in inventory control.
- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug system issues to ensure seamless performance.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in Python, SQL, or R for data analysis and scripting.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of optimization techniques (linear programming, heuristic algorithms, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills.
- Passion for supply chain management, retail tech, or operational research.
- Prior internship or project experience in data analysis, software development, or inventory systems is advantageous.
