Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate R&D project teams to ensure on-time delivery of initiatives, from conceptualization to commercialization.
- Develop and implement research methodologies to identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., Marketing, Production, Quality Assurance) to align R&D goals with business objectives.
- Oversee product testing, prototyping, and validation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Analyze data and generate actionable reports to guide product improvements and innovation strategies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for assigned R&D projects while mitigating risks and resolving bottlenecks.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, materials, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth within the R&D department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Product Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record of leading successful product development projects from ideation to launch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical methods.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, or local compliance requirements) and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and office productivity tools.
