Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO, IATF 16949, and other industry standards.
- Lead internal and external quality audits, identifying non-conformities and driving corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data and trends to implement proactive improvements and reduce defects.
- Train and mentor staff on quality procedures, tools, and methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, FMEA).
- Oversee documentation and reporting for quality metrics, audit findings, and compliance status.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment with expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within manufacturing, preferably in automotive or appliance sectors.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a strong plus.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with audit planning, execution, and reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
