Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure product compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished goods to identify defects or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, logistics) to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste and enhancing efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to customer-specific quality requirements and regulatory standards throughout the PTP (Production to Packaging) workflow.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality best practices, tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC), and documentation protocols.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality deviations and implement preventive measures to mitigate recurrence.
- Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and KPIs to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing, electronics, or automotive industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D).
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with auditing (internal/external) and compliance to customer-specific standards (e.g., Ford, Toyota, or medical device regulations).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to process optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
