Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Quality Engineering team to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and other international medical device regulations
- Develop and implement quality management systems for medical device manufacturing and healthcare services
- Oversee risk management processes and ensure product safety throughout the lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality methodologies
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless quality integration
- Manage audits (internal and external) and ensure timely closure of corrective actions
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting systems for executive leadership
- Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing quality engineering organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quality engineering with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and other medical device regulations
- Experience with medical device manufacturing and healthcare quality systems
- Certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Experience working in multinational companies with global quality standards
