Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous inspections of furniture at various stages of production (raw materials, assembly, and final finishing).
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Document and report all quality-related issues, providing actionable feedback to production supervisors.
- Oversee final QC testing to ensure structural integrity, joinery precision, and aesthetic perfection.
- Manage the rejection and rework process for items that do not meet internal quality thresholds.
- Maintain detailed inspection logs and quality performance records for management review.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify root causes of manufacturing defects and implement preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control within a furniture manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to interpret technical blueprints, shop drawings, and finish specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of wood types, joinery techniques, and furniture finishing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to preventing production errors.
- Familiarity with industry-standard quality management tools and inspection checklists.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high focus in a busy factory environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay quality concerns to craftsmen and leadership.
