Responsibility
- Develop and implement QC/QA policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows and reduce waste while maintaining high-quality output.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control tests, audits, and non-conformance reports for traceability and compliance.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in quality assurance and safety protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure consistent material quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QC/QA within manufacturing, preferably in packaging, food, or logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, or other relevant quality standards.
- Proficient in quality control tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 5S) and laboratory testing methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and compliance.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
