Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections and sampling of incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
- Perform physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations of materials as per established protocols.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all sampling activities, test results, and deviations for traceability.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve any non-conformities or discrepancies in material quality.
- Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of quality control procedures and workflows.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on sampling activities, highlighting any issues or trends that may impact production.
- Ensure all sampling equipment is calibrated, clean, and functioning optimally to maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to strict safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations in all sampling and testing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in raw material sampling, quality control, or laboratory testing within manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and HACCP principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify potential quality issues.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers) and basic computer applications (MS Office, LIMS).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for reporting and collaboration.
- Physical ability to handle samples, stand for extended periods, and work in a laboratory or production floor setting.
