Responsibility
- Assist in designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts for software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Participate in agile/Scrum meetings to provide QA insights and progress updates.
- Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new defects are introduced.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in QA and software testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with test case design, execution, and defect tracking is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) or scripting is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
