Responsibility
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Document and report any deviations or defects, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and enhance overall product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics for reporting and analysis.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality control processes and reduce waste.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and root causes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma) is a plus.
