Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with food safety and hospitality industry standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments of hotel operations, including F&B services, housekeeping, and guest facilities, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with kitchen, service, and management teams to address quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all products, ingredients, and processes meet local and international regulatory requirements (e.g., Indonesian FDA, Halal certification).
- Train and educate staff on quality control protocols, hygiene practices, and compliance requirements.
- Document and report QA findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Investigate guest complaints or quality incidents, root-cause analysis, and propose preventive measures.
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance QA frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO Lead Auditor) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, or compliance within the hospitality, F&B, or manufacturing industries.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) and Indonesian regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in QA software, audit tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
