Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of injection moulding products to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the manufacturing or injection moulding industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry-specific standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of quality assurance professionals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
