Responsibility
- Supervise and monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols, procedures, and documentation.
- Generate comprehensive inspection reports, highlighting findings, root causes, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Perform regular audits to verify compliance with ISO, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC, inspection, or a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, or TQM.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and quality management software.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
