Responsibility
- Assist senior application engineers in designing and selecting pump systems for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and efficiency standards.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation, including system layouts, calculations, and performance reports for CBS projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer requirements and propose tailored pump solutions for HVAC, water supply, and fire protection systems.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to gather data, troubleshoot issues, and verify system performance in real-world applications.
- Conduct research on industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable practices in commercial building water management.
- Assist in the development of technical proposals and presentations for clients, highlighting Grundfos’s innovative solutions.
- Perform basic CAD modeling and simulations to visualize and validate pump system designs under supervision.
- Contribute to internal process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting optimizations in workflow or documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of fluid dynamics, HVAC systems, or pump technology (academic or project-based experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to technical tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Prior internship or project experience in building services, water systems, or industrial applications is a plus.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 3–6 months.
