Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality products.
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is an advantage.
