Responsibility
- Process and manage the acquisition of materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
- Track and coordinate importation activities, including customs clearance, documentation, and settlement.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the logistics team to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to process purchase orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
