Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to align with company objectives and cost-saving targets.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team to ensure high performance, adherence to policies, and achievement of KPIs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their reliability, and assess cost-benefit ratios.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and minimize stockouts.
- Implement and maintain procurement software/tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Analyze spending data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
