Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (local and overseas) to meet organizational procurement needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality supplies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and alternative suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, compliance with quality standards, and resolution of any issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations) to align purchasing strategies with budgetary and operational goals.
- Implement and maintain a robust supplier evaluation process, including performance metrics and quality assessments.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and regulatory compliance in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in healthcare or manufacturing.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, or Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics (a plus).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
