Harfia Construction Machinery is a dynamic player in the construction equipment industry, and we are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Purchasing Engineer to join our Balaraja team. Responsibility
- Develop and execute effective procurement strategies to support construction machinery production schedules.
- Analyze technical requirements to source high-quality raw materials, components, and spare parts.
- Lead contract negotiations with domestic and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable delivery terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent production downtime while managing warehouse space efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and supply chain status updates for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the manufacturing or heavy machinery industry.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and mechanical parts.
- Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and build long-term professional relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo).
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and competent in English for business communications.
- Willingness to be based in Balaraja, Banten.
