Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency.
- Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (fresh graduates with internships are welcome).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to evaluate supplier quotes and manage budgets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and basic accounting concepts.
