Responsibility
- Lead and support the development of payments infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with MAS’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement data connectivity solutions for secure and efficient transactions.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovations in digital payments and fintech.
- Coordinate with IT teams to integrate new systems, APIs, and data pipelines while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-scope execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for payment systems and data sharing frameworks.
- Facilitate cross-border collaboration with financial institutions, tech partners, and government agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payments systems, fintech, or financial services, with exposure to project management.
- Strong understanding of payment protocols (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, UPI), APIs, and data integration standards.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies, central banks, or financial institutions is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, GDPR, or MAS’s technology risk guidelines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a results-driven mindset.
