Responsibility
- Design, develop, and review electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, CCTV, and backup generators) for residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with architects and civil engineers to integrate electrical plans with overall project designs while ensuring compliance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and local building codes.
- Prepare and submit electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for approval by authorities and stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement of electrical materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor installation progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project timelines.
- Implement energy-efficient solutions, including solar power integration and smart building technologies, to align with sustainability goals.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PET) in Indonesia is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and project management for real estate, high-rise buildings, or large-scale developments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or Dialux for electrical system modeling and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes (PU, PLN regulations) and international standards (IEC, NEC).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; ability to communicate technical details to non-engineering stakeholders.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design practices is highly desirable.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or travel to project sites as required.
