Responsibility
- Lead and manage procurement projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management with a focus on procurement or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale procurement projects in a global or regional context.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or CIPS is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities.
