Responsibility
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service, events, or private functions.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards in all food and beverage service operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (hotel, restaurant, or resort preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays or items for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail pairings (training provided).
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Neat, professional appearance and adherence to uniform policies.
