Responsibility
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activities.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents in a calm and professional manner.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related field.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems.
