Responsibility
- Lead guided rafting tours on Bali's rivers, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Conduct pre-trip safety briefings and demonstrate proper rafting techniques and equipment usage.
- Monitor weather and river conditions to assess safety risks and adjust routes as necessary.
- Provide first aid and emergency response when needed, following company protocols.
- Maintain rafting equipment, including rafts, paddles, helmets, and life jackets, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
- Educate guests about local flora, fauna, and cultural highlights along the river route.
- Assist in training new guides and participating in team-building activities.
- Uphold the company's standards of professionalism, customer service, and environmental stewardship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a rafting guide or in a similar outdoor adventure role is preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness to handle the demands of rafting.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse groups of guests.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of river dynamics, safety protocols, and rafting techniques.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
