Responsibility
- Provide daily care, feeding, and hydration for company-owned pets according to established schedules and dietary requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, including vaccination schedules, medication administration, and veterinary visit documentation.
- Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes in pets to the veterinary team or management.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of pet living areas, including cages, enclosures, and common spaces, to prevent the spread of disease.
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning to maintain pets' hygiene and comfort.
- Facilitate socialization and enrichment activities to promote the mental and physical well-being of pets.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other animal care professionals to implement health and wellness programs.
- Maintain inventory of pet supplies, including food, medications, and grooming tools, and report shortages as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in animal care, pet custodianship, or a related field (volunteer experience may be considered).
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, health, and basic veterinary care principles.
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments with patience, care, and confidence.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in maintaining health records and monitoring pet well-being.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and veterinary professionals.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
