Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality matcha, coffee, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, including equipment and storage areas.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service to local and international guests.
- Educate customers on menu items, including tea origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista, preferably with expertise in matcha preparation.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques, equipment, and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is advantageous.
