Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients under chef supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment and following recipes accurately.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow proper food storage and waste management procedures to minimize costs.
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring consistent presentation standards.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and report any hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or culinary environment (fresh graduates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine is a plus but not required.
